A Helping Hand

A friend of mine recently had a problem with their sprinkling system. A pipe had broken that was causing flooding and I volunteered to help fix it. After cutting up a piece of the broken pipe and putting in a new one, I was feeling pretty good about myself as we turned the water on. What happened next immediately eliminated my confidence as water starting pouring out of multiple locations and I realized that I was way over my head. My friend asked me what we should do now and I simply replied, "Let's call an expert."

This is a scenario many find themselves in during the course of starting or running their own business. You may be smart, have passion, and even spent countless hours studying the business area you wish to pursue only to see the floodgates open when unexpected problems or scenarios present themselves. There is nothing wrong with knowing your limitations or wishing to speed up your learning curve by calling in an expert. Robert Kiyosaki credits much of his success to surrounding himself with people smarter than himself. This humble explanation of his success emphasizes the need for having experts in certain fields surrounding you.

In my opinion, the greatest strength of Rich Dad Education is the expertise that its trainers, Mentors, and coaches bring to the students. While these individuals have become excellent teachers, they are far more than that. They have been down the paths that you are attempting to go, and are truly experienced in their chosen fields. By drawing on their experience and knowledge, you can accelerate your own growth and avoid mistakes and pitfalls before they happen.

I hope you enjoy the articles this month.
