According to reports by eGaming Review online gambling operator Party Gaming has boosted its marketing efforts to cash in on the US authorities’ freeze on the payment channels of US sites PokerStars and Full Tilt.
The push has already positively affected player numbers said the company after revealing that revenue after April 6th is in line with figures from the first quarter even though the summer months usually force a slight dip in online gaming figures.
Jim Ryan, PartyGaming chief commented, “The Group’s strategy remains on track and I am pleased that many of the seeds we have sown over the past year are now beginning to bear fruit.”
PartyCasino was the strongest performing brand from the group creating double digit growth figures from the increase in games available and the launch of a new affiliate program and international marketing initiative.
In contrast, however, the PartyPoker brand took a slight dip due to a variety of reasons which include continuing pressure from US poker sites, seasonality and lower incomes due to player loyalty costs and more bonuses being made available.
