Bortz bought a three-bedroom, three-bath condo at 675 Sackett St. in Park Slope from Michele Carino and William Whitenack for $1.14 million on Aug. 6. Unit #108 measures 2,290 square feet. The four-story condominium building was built in 1903 and includes 38 units. Bortz is the managing director at Art on the Web, a Web site design and Internet marketing firm founded in 1997. He previously worked as an investment banker for 10 years. He holds a Ph.D. in economics. Carino previously was an associate at the New York law office of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP. She received her B.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1992 and her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1999.
